About John Scheffey
John M. Scheffey, brings a wealth of Executive & Board Leadership experience and a deep commitment to the success of every project. From starting his business in his master bedroom to leading a nationally recognized firm through a successful private equity transaction, John’s journey has been fueled by passion, persistence, and the belief that no challenge is too great.
John leverages decades of experience to Scheffey Co to help you reach your goals and help companies navigate critical inflection points. Whether that means refining your business models, accelerating go-to-market strategies, optimizing for scale, or preparing for a successful exit, John’s got your back. His leadership is grounded in real-world success, having driven growth across hundreds of high-impact initiatives as a trusted advisor, not just an operator.
In addition to his consulting work, John founded and is Board Chairman of Core States Group, and plays an active Board Member roles in transformative ventures such as Distinctive Living and LIV Process, where he continues to apply his strategic lens to fast-growing sectors like senior living and biotech. His ability to identify opportunity, de-risk complexity, and deliver results makes him an invaluable partner to founders, operators, and investors alike.
Beyond business, John is deeply committed to giving back. He serves on the boards of the March of Dimes and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. A proud father of six, he spends his spare time golfing, skiing, and playing in an over-28 men’s baseball league.
